Welcome to Halcyon Heartworks. I included the Mirriam-Webster definition of “Halcyon”, a word most people have rarely (if ever) heard and have probably never used. The definition of that word rings so true in the way I choose to approach life. Looking for happiness, peace, great success and prosperity in everything and everyone.

Heartworks is a combination of Heart and artworks. Each item I create is made with the intention of bringing a smile to someone’s face, to brighten their day and to remind them that they are loved. I love working with wood because each piece has a character of its own; from the color, the striations and the grain pattern that makes each piece unique. The very center of a piece of wood is called the heart.

Just as every piece of wood is different, so are we. Different occasions arise and I can help to provide just the right gift. I offer so many types of customized items such as stainless steel cups and tumblers, cutting/charcuterie boards, pens, notebooks… A beautiful handmade pen is a great way to recognize a promotion at work, celebrate graduation or for someone who loves journaling.
